Founded in 2003, PetroTex Hydrocarbons, LLC. ("PetroTex") is a privately held, environmental technology company specializing in the conservation and recovery of renewable resources. PetroTex has developed the ReGenTM re-refining process. ReGenTM is an economical, energy-efficient and environmentally beneficial process for the manufacture of high quality Base Oil and other products from used oil. PetroTex desires to become a contributor to the responsible and efficient use of our country's natural resources, through the implementation of the ReGen™ technology. To help accomplish this vision, PetroTex, in association with industry partners, will build facilities to cleanly and economically process used oil back into its highest and best use product - lubricating base oil. Through implementation of its technology, used oil can be continually reprocessed in a closed loop cycle enabling it to be used over and over again. PetroTex's Corporate offices are located in Cedar Hill Texas and its Research & Development Offices are located in Addison, Texas (both are suburbs of Dallas ). At the R&D Facility, PetroTex operates a process demonstration plant, analytical facilities, glassware and bench top testing equipment and experimental test rigs. The process demonstration plant has the capacity to process approximately 200 gallons of Used Oil per day. The process demonstration plant is utilized not only to demonstrate the process but also to generate data for project engineering. PetroTex assembled an experienced team of professionals and believes that it is well positioned to implement the ReGenTM technology and capitalize on the large opportunity for re-refining used lubricating oils.
